Icom Digital Mode and CAT Control Interfaces

Icom CAT control and Digital mode interfaces allowing you to use Digimode Software such as Ham Radio Deluxe, FLDigi, WSJT-X to operate PSK31, FT-8, JT9, JT-65, Echolink and many other AFSK modes.

At xggcomms.com we offer a range of Digital Mode interfaces. All interfaces are USB connection to your PC. They all and have a built-in sound card dedicated to Digital Mode operation keeping your PCs own sound card free for normal Windows duties. Our Digimode-4 interface also includes full CAT control allowing your chosen software to set-get the frequency and mode of your transceiver.

For best performance, our Digimode-4 and Digimode-3 interfaces are 600:600 Ohm transformer isolated for the audio and Opto-isolated for PTT. But if you are looking for a value solution or a great interface for a portable setup, check the Digimode-3-Micro.

The Digimode-4 is USB connection to your PC. It has both built-in USB Sound card and USB CAT control and features fully isolated and audio PTT.

It allows you to fully utilise software such as WSJT-X, JTDX, FLDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe, Echolink, PSK31, DM780, N1MM Logger, MixW, Vara, Winlink and many more.

The interface is perfect for operating modes such as FT8, J65, PSK, Echolink and any other AFSK Mode.

Our Digimode-3-Micro interface is perfect if you are looking for a compact Digimode interface for a go-bag for portable use or you are looking to set up a Digimode set-up on a budget.

The USB Audio codec is built into the USB plug shell and that includes its built-in VOX PTT circuit. It simply plugs into a spare USB port on your PC and then into the Accessory/Data port on your radio.

Icom IC-Cable-1-USB

USB CAT Control Cable

The interface gives you full USB CAT Control of your Icom Transceiver and uses the highly reliable FTDI chipset. It allows you to set and get the frequency and mode of your transceiver using software such as Ham Radio Deluxe and to use the CAT functions within WSJT-X, FLDigi, Echolink and many more. It can be used alongside other Digimode audio interfacing products you may own.

This interface will work with ANY CAT enabled Icom radio. But with the radios below, it will also allow for PTT over CAT control.
