Standard Cable Length is 2m but extra cable lengths up to 5m available
Connects between your PC's 9 Pin RS232 Port and the CAT Jack on suitably equipped Yaesu Radios. For Yaesu Radio's which do not include PTT keying in the CAT Command set, the interface is hardware PTT enabled via the PTT line in the CAT jack.
Powered from your PC's RS-232 port and so requires no additional PSU. You must ensure that your chosen software can raise the RS232 "DTR" signal to provide the interface with power. The main software packages listed above have this facility and work 100% with my products.
Works perfectly when used with a USB to RS232 converter when your PC has no legacy RS232 port.

Choose the correct interface for your Transceiver

RS-232 to 3.5mm Pin Stereo Jack to provide full Programming and Cloning compatibility with the following Yaesu Equipment:

FT-60, VX-3R, VX-5R, VX-6R, VX-7R, VX-150, VX-170, VX-177

Note: This interface is terminated in a 3.5mm stereo jack. (Data to the ring). It is not recommended that this is plugged into the transceiver.
You will need to provide a 3.5mm to 2.5mm stereo jack adapter and then use the Yaesu CT-91 or CT-44 Microphone adapters to interface to the unique Yaesu 3.5mm 4 pole jack on the transceiver. The clone signal is carried on the ring of the 2.5mm stereo jack socket on the Mic inputs of the CT-91 and CT-44.

CW Interface
Interface models:
CW-Cable-1 and CW-Cable-2

This interface offers CW Keying of your Transceiver via your PC's RS-232 port and your Radio's CW/Key Jack. The interface requires your software to be able to send CW via the RS-232 "RTS" Signal.

The CW keying circuit is housed in the 9 Pin D-Type RS-232 shell and the 2m long cable is terminated in a 3.5mm mono jack.

Most CW keyer jacks are 1/4" and so you need to either provide a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter or purchase the 1/4" jack version of the interface for a small extra charge.

CW-Cable-1 has a 3.5mm jack
CW-Cable-2 has a 1/4" jack
