You can also choose to use your PCs internal sound card to generate/decode your Digimode signals or to use an external sound card interface to free up your PCs sound card for normal use.   Suitable for any AFSK and Digital mode such as FT8, JT9, PSK31, WSPR ect. Perfect for use with WSJT-X, FlDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe (DM780), Echolink and many others. Please note that some of these applications offer enhanced functionality when you also have CAT control of the radio.
  The interface has a built in external USB Sound Card based on C-Media CM108 chip. This frees up your PCs internal sound card for normal windows functions. The interface has a built in PTT function and can be used without a CAT interface.
  The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver via a built in USB Comm port. CAT control allows you to set/get the frequency and mode of your transceiver. The interface used the highly reliable FTDI UART comm port chipset.
  The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver using "older" PCs legacy RS232 comm port. Also suitable if you use a USB to RS232 adapter. CAT control allows you to set/get the frequency and mode of your transceiver.

The Tx/Rx audio signals are galvanically isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated. The USB section of the interface uses the highly reliable FTDI Chipset and provides a virtual comm port allowing full CAT control and hardare PTT keying over the RTS signal.

With this interface, you will be up and running on PSK31, Echolink, SSTV, Pactor, Packet or any mode that requires CAT control and Tx/Rx Audio Interfacing between your PC Soundcard and Radio within minutes.

External USB Sound Card isolated audio interface allowing you to operate many AFSK digital modes such as PSK31, FT8, JT9, JT65 and Echolink. Fully plug and play. Simply plug the USB cable into your PC and the Data plug into your transceiver.

Perfect with digital mode applications such as DM780, WSJT, FLDigi, Echolink etc.

The interface uses the C-Media CM108 USB Audio Chipset and most modern operating systems already have the driver pre-installed. The advantage of this interface is your PCs normal soundcard is not tied up for Digital mode operations. As you now have a separate and dedicated soundcard for your Digital Mode working, you can independently set the Tx/Rx audio levels leaving normal PC sound unaffected.

The interface is fully galvanically isolated between PC and Radio. The Tx/Rx audio signals are isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated. The PTT is keyed by an internal VOX circuit in the interface.
